You share origin, destination, commodity, weight and volume. We return an all-in rate with a validity date.
Booking confirmation
Space is reserved with the carrier, the rate is fixed and your booking reference is issued.
Pickup and export documentation
Cargo collected, packed and lashed. Bill of lading, packing list, commercial invoice and certificate of origin prepared.
Export clearance and departure
Customs filed at origin, cargo loaded, and departure confirmed with sailing or flight details.
Arrival and import clearance
HS classification, duty calculation and filing at destination by our own team, not a third-party broker.
Delivery and proof
Final-mile delivery to your door or warehouse, with signed proof of delivery returned to you.

Most shipments stall on documents, not on transport. All of this is handled in house.
Who pays for what.
The four terms importers ask about most. We can quote on any of them.
You collect from the seller's factory. Everything after the gate is your cost and risk.
Seller delivers and clears for export at the origin port. Freight onward is yours.
Seller covers freight and insurance to the destination port. You handle import clearance.
Everything including duty is covered to your door. The simplest option for first-time importers.

What do you need to give me a quote?
Origin and destination, commodity, gross weight, total volume or dimensions, packaging type and your required delivery date. That is enough for an all-in rate within 24 hours.
What is chargeable weight?
Carriers charge on whichever is greater — actual weight or volumetric weight. For air freight the volumetric divisor is typically 6000, so a light but bulky consignment is priced on its volume rather than its scale weight.
Should I ship FCL or LCL?
As a rough guide, once you pass roughly 13–15 CBM a 20ft container usually costs less than LCL and moves faster with fewer handling points. Below that, LCL is normally cheaper. Send us your volume and we will work out both.
Do you handle customs clearance yourself?
Yes. HS classification, duty calculation and filing are done by our own team at both origin and destination, so you deal with one point of contact instead of separate brokers.
Can you handle hazardous or temperature-controlled cargo?
Yes. DG cargo requires the MSDS and correct UN classification in advance, and reefer cargo needs the temperature range specified at booking. Both are quoted separately from general cargo.
Is cargo insurance included?
Not by default. We arrange all-risk marine cover as an add-on, priced on the commercial invoice value of your consignment. Carrier liability alone is limited and rarely covers full value.
What happens if my cargo is held at customs?
Our clearance team deals with the query directly and tells you what is needed — usually a corrected HS code, a missing certificate or a valuation clarification. You get an update the same day it happens.
